What is Dokibird's Dragoon Getaway?
It's a puzzle / shooting game where you play as Bounty Hunter Dokibird going after a group of Dragoons who are escaping town after commiting a robbery.
Made for DokiJam in 2 weeks.
How to Play
Each game level is split into two phases: Preparation and Shooting.
In the Preparation Phase, you'll get a bird's eye view of the map (courtesy of Crowki) where you can spot the Dragoons and predict their escape route.
With the help of Crowki, drop dynamite in strategic positions so that the chain of explosions intercept the Dragoons and knock them out to be captured!
Dynamite will explode in a diamond shaped area, igniting the fuses of any other dynamite as well as KO'ing Dragoons that are inside it.
In the Shooting Phase, you'll get an over the shoulder view of the map from Doki's perspective. As the Dragoons run to the escape zone, shoot the dynamite to start the chain reaction and stop them on their tracks.
Time your shot right and make every bullet count, since Doki's gun only holds 6 of them!
Oh and make sure you exorcise those pesky Wisps that may appear around during the shooting phase!
Game Controls
The game is controlled using the mouse.
During the Preparation Phase, move the mouse pointer to select where to place dynamite on the map. Left-click to drop a dynamite charge or right-click to recover it. You can not remove charges that were in the map from the start.
During the Shooting Phase, aim with the mouse and shoot with left-click.

It's so so cute ! (Yes explosions are cute.)
I'm not a big fan of puzzle games and couldn't go further than level 5 but the jam theme is on point !
The explanations at the beginning are perfect and so well illustrated.
No bug encountered, maybe just the aiming sometime but.. that's a skill issue-_-
"Bug": The game doesn't work (It goes at 2 FPS, even after loading screen) on Opera GX. Everything works perfectly fine on Edge !
